Our sweet pup Han Solo was hit by a car on Sunday October 6. At first they thought he would never walk again, but after being transported to Tufts they gave us hope his back fracture could be fixed.
Late Sunday night we went ahead with the complicated surgery to put pins 2 fractures in his spine and there is now hope he will walk again!
He will be in the hospital for 3-5 days and then has a long journey to recovery. Strict crate rest for 2-3 months followed by physical therapy.
This surgery was $8,000 to $10,000 and we are reaching out to all of our wonderful friends, family and dog walking clients to help us.
Anything raised over our goal will go to Dakin Animal Shelter!
