Please help raise money to support this family in a time of extremely challenging circumstances.
We are starting this page to help a wonderful young family though one of the darkest times the mind could imagine. Birth, death and everything in between.
In the past few months they have been blessed with a newborn son who was unfortunately born at 27 weeks. Rachel suffered a detached placenta, nearly claiming her own life. Mayson Pace was born July 23, 2013 (due date Oct 23). This young family welcomed Mayson with loving arms. Rachel and her husband Brian have spent the last few months trying to manage their jobs and caring for their other beautiful children, one of whom is autistic and has cerebral palsy, along with trying to visit baby Mayson at the NICU in University of Utah Hospital as often as they can. Little Mayson has been in the hospital since his birth and is still there gaining his strength. Mayson recently underwent heart surgery which unexpectedly paralyzed his vocal chords, so he is unable to eat or even cry normally. The medical bills continue to mount, but Mayson, happily, continues to defy the odds and gain weight, strength and health. He has a long road ahead of him, but he has shown the world that he is a fighter!
Through this difficult time, Rachel & her husband Brian and the rest of their family have stayed unbelievably positive, and continue to hope for the best in these difficult times. Their trials have challenged them financially and they are currently facing eviction from their home as early as next week. Eviction.....before their son, Mayson, is able to come home for the first time.
We would like to request your donation to help this family get through the tough times they are facing. Please help support them while they are missing work to care for their family and to possibly help get them through the holidays that are rapidly approaching. Together, we can keep them in their home and give them some financial help that will mean the world to them.The funds from this page will go to this family to pay for hospital costs and other bills they are faced with paying.
