Beverly Brehl's dream for Disneyland

Beverly Brehl was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer when her son was only four months old. Jack is now a three year old full of love and energy. Beverly's wish is to go to Disneyland with Jack, her husband and sister. We need to raise money for airfare, transportation, meals and Disneyland admission. Any additional money raised will be used for medical bills.

Bev and I met in grade six. We have been together through some wonderful times and difficult times. Despite the fact that we have not lived in the same city since the end of high school, we are still close. Bev's giggle is infectious, she is intelligent and her beauty radiates whether she is bald and scarred or not (although her teenaged self never would have believed that). She is a proud Mom, a loyal friend and motivating teacher. Her fight with cancer has been courageous and inspiring throughout the many battles she has already fought. My hope and prayer is that Bev defies the odds and lives a long life. I wish that she gets to watch Jack grow up. She has received some less positive information with the last few scans. One of the things Bev has shared is a desire to go to Disneyland. It is my goal to get her there while she is well enough to enjoy the trip and to make lasting memories with Jack and Jeremy. I know that I am not alone in wanting to help in any way that I can and in wanting great things for Bev.
