If you're fortunate enough to know Don Gabbard, you can attest that he is an amazing individual. He's humble, selfless, hardworking and kind. He spends his life caring for others, always putting himself last.
For years, Don has vowed to take his family on a much deserved vacation, yet he's never packed a suitcase. Someone always needed him. Something was always keeping him trenching through his daily routines, yet somehow, Don doesn't complain. He treats every obstacle as a challenge and spends his days counting his blessings.
His wife is very ill.
His child has serious health complications.
And, most recently, Don was diagnosed with his own challenging illness.
So, finally, Don knew it was time. Time to smell the salty air. Time away with his beautiful family. Time to relax. Time to finally take that vacation. At least, we all thought it was time, until his house caught fire early this week causing major damage.
With all the heartache Don has experienced over the years, now he has to come up with the money to cover the deductible on his homeowner's policy to restore his property on top of the burden to cover the impending medial bills for each family member.
