House for Grandma & 6 Grandkids

Sandra is a dear friend of mine. Due to circumstances beyond her control she has become the caregiver of all six of her grandchildren (ages 2-10). She works a full time job and raises these great kids. Then the unthinkable happened, her house was destroyed. It was no longer a safe livable place for her or her grandkids, but she did not play on the heart strings of anyone. In fact, she told no one and tried to manage on her own.
When I found out what had happened my heart broke into a million pieces. I found myself there every night trying to help. At the same time, God had been moving on the hearts of several others to help. I felt like God was speaking a very specific word, "Fix It!"
The more I talked to people the more I realized that "Fix It!" was much bigger than I was or even bigger than a few of us.
The house needed to be gutted and stripped down to the outside walls and rebuilt. I panicked! I told God that I wasn't qualified. He told me, "Take it one day at a time and don't stop and people will come up beside you and go to work with you. They will be led by Me just like the animals of the ARK were led to the ark."
So the journey began. God has blessed us every step of the way. God's blessings have been overwhelming!!!
God has provided a safe place for her and her grandchildren to live while the house is being rebuilt. (free of charge)
God has provided food, clothing, some toys, movies, furniture, beds, new mattresses for all of them.
We have been able to get it completely stripped out and cleaned.
We have changed the layout and added a half bath and an extra room. (Now the kids can sleep two to a room and not four girls in one room.)
The framing is completed. (I learned I can build walls with the help of a lot of people)
The electrical has been installed.
Our goal is to have them back in their home by the end of October so they can spend the holidays in their home, not someone else's.
But to do that We have to raise some money. So please take a moment pray and ask God how you can help. It will cost about $10,000.00 to finish this project.
