Hello family and friends! I am so greatful to you all for helping me to accomplish my goal of funding the AA fieldtrip for last year. It was an experience I'll never forget!
This year there are 2 trips being offered to my 8th grade class. My hope is to go on one of them. They both seem like once-in-a-lifetime experiences. They both focus on Conservation. I would be working alongside wildlife conservationists either at a Manatee sanctuary or aiding & monitoring Leatherback Sea Turtles and 3-toed sloths!
My challenge is to raise enough money, quickly enough to secure a spot. The less expensive trip (Everglades/manatees) happens sooner, and to get a spot I have to raise $900 by October 21st! The bigger trip is to Costa Rica in May. To secure a spot I have to raise $1300 by Nov 21st! Both seem highly unlikely but I'm just putting this out there to try.
If I do not raise enough in time for either trip I will either put any money I did receive towards Jones' trips when they begin in 6th grade, or a savings account for college.
