Agustin’s Second Chance At Life

Sunday October 22nd, 2017. The day we never thought something like this would happen. Agustín and Veronica Rivera were in a horrid car accident on the evening of October 22nd, in Park Forest Illinois. The person responsible fled and has not yet been found. Veronica Rivera walked away with minor injuries. But the accident resulted in the massive injuries to Agustin Rivera’s face, head and chest. He was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with a brain bleed on the right side of his brain, broken skull, broken cheekbones and broken ribs. No one thought he was going to survive. But God gave him a second chance at life... He is awake, he is talking, he is even walking! Yes he is badly hurt but he is alive! Agustín Rivera works 2 jobs just support his wife and three children. Now with this horrid accident he is going to be out of work for at least 6 months. This accident not only changed Agustin’s life but also his entire family’s. The best gift in life is a second chance. Agustín Rivera was lucky enough to get a second chance! These medical bills will not let him or his family utilize the second chance the way God has intended. We are asking for help because Agustin needs full time care, bills paid, and as much support as he can get. This opportunity at a second chance must not be wasted. Anything helps, tell your friends, contact any of the family members. The money we are raising will be going toward paying medical bills, utility bills, living necessities, and posible legal fees. El dia que nunca nos imaginamos que algo asi pasaria. Agustin y Veronica Rivera sufriero un terrible accidente la noche de Octubre 22, 2017 en Park Forest, IL. Fueron victimas de conduccion temeraria. La familia Rivera se conducia hacia Sam’s Club cuando un individuo impacto el vehículo del lado del conductor, cuyo era conducido por Agustin. El golpe fue tan fuerte que causo que la Familia Rivera se estrellara contra un arbol. La persona culpable huyó de la escena y aun no es capturado. El accidente aun esta bajo investigacion. Veronica Rivera sufrio heridas leves. A lo contrario el accidente resulto en heridas masivas en el rostro, cabeza y pecho dejando a Agustin en condicion critica. Agustin fue transladado al hospital y fue diagnosticado con sangrado cerebral, fracturas en el craneo, costillas y mejillas. Nadie penso que se salvaria. Pero Dios le dio una segunda oportunidad de vida... el esta despierto, hablando e incluso caminando! Aun esta bastante herido pero esta con vida. Agustin y su familia viven en la cominidad de Steger. El es la cabeza de hogar, tenia dos trabajos para mantener a su esposa y tres hijos. Ahora con este terrible accidente el tendra que estar fuera del trabajo por almenos 6 meses. El accidente no solo cambio la vida de Agustin, sino la vida de la familia entera. El mejor regalo en la vida es una segunda oportunidad. Agustin es afortunado en tener ese precioso regalo! Mas sin embargo, los gastos medicos no le permitiran ni a el ni a su familia utilizar la oportunidad como Dios lo a destinado. Estamos pidiendo por su ayuda, porque Agustin necesitara cuidado de tiempo completo, pagar biles y toda la ayuda que se le pueda brindar. Esta segunda oportunidad no se puede desperdiciar. Cualquier granito de arena ayuda, comparte con tus amigos y famiiares.El dinero que estamos recaudando sera usados para gastos medicos, gastos de utilidades, de vivienda, y posible gastos legales.
