Helping Sarah

Donation protected
On Wednesday October 18th, Sarah suffered a stroke in her sleep. She has been in a London hospital where she has had numerous tests to try to determine the cause and the proper course of treatment for our girl.
Sarah is experiencing severe non-fluent aphasia, meaning that while much of her understanding is there, she is having difficulties communicating and expressing her thoughts. This is extremely hard and frightening for Sarah, especially since intelligence is NOT impacted by aphasia.
Because she was not a salaried employee, Sarah is left in this situation without any benefits or insurance. They are reccommending an in-patient program for her speech and occupational therpy, but she needs to stay in the hospital until they can admit her, which could be 2-3 more weeks. The costs of travel, hotel stays for caregivers, specialists, and perscriptions are going to be monumental. She is also unable to work in her condition, yet still has bills to pay. Her prognosis is still unclear. Please help us care for Sarah and be able to provide her with everything she needs as she is working to heal!
