HEART TRANSPLANT FUND

My husband , Dennis has suffered with Congestive Heart Failure for the last 14 years starting at age 33. He’s been in and out of the hospital more times than we can count . He’s had 3 pacemakers with defibrillators over the last 14 years . He has taken every prescription out there to make his heart stronger but with no luck . Last October he got very sick again and the only option to keep him alive then was to have a LVAD placed in his heart .
He received the life saving LVAD on October 30, 2017 . He was discharged to go home on November 22, 2017.
The picture above is the last step before going home . It’s the ringing of the VAD Bell.
** UPDATE **
As of July 10, 2018, he has been admitted back to UAB where he will remain until a heart donor is found . There are no other options left . If you look thru the photos you can see a picture of just how enlarged his heart is. It’s twice the size of a normal heart .
He is top priority on Transplant list but it could be tomorrow when a Heart is found or up to a year .
Please Pray for the family that will be losing a loved one and for my husband’s body to not reject the new life .
