Help Kirbus Maximus and his Brothers

Kirbus Maximus is a rescued Westie who makes his home with New England Westie Rescue Network Director Karen Errichetti, his two Westie brothers Wyatt and Little Man Casey, and his dad Vincent. Kirbus is a very special Westie boy with Addison's disease who unexpectedly became very ill this past week. First trip to the emergency room revealed he had a gastrointestinal issue, and after week he seemed to get better. But then on September 30th he started vomiting up water every time he drank. Finally, he vomited so far that he fell off his mom's bed and did not move. He was rushed to Bulger Animal Hospital where he remains under supported care with very bad pancreatitis. The very next day, his brothers Wyatt and Little Man became very ill with a virus, vomiting and excreting blood. They are both home under mama and dad's watchful care with lots of medicine and fluids.

Kirby's mom Karen has rescued Westies for many years and has helped many people raise funds to care for their sick Westies. She never asks for help, but this time she needs help to pay for Kirby's hospitalization. With no certainty about when he will be released, we are asking folks give what you can to help. You know Karen would help you if you were in the same boat. Help make sure Karen can sleep at night knowing Kirby will be able to get what he needs.
