Fellowship Abroad 2018

hi guys!! some of you may have seen the GoFundMe that I recently posted on Twitter and Facebook, but many of you probably haven’t. the campaign is for a FELLOWSHIP ABROAD during the summer of 2018. I recently applied to the Atlantis Fellowship Project and ended up getting accepted!! (yay) ! Before getting accepted however, i endured a three-step interview process. This process included a general application about who I am, my background information and school history. This general app. also included me writing four essays about why i want to study medicine, what i think the Atlantis Fellowship would do for me and my future career, and more on personal experiences I’ve had with health care. The second part of the interview process was a Skype interview with an Atlantis Fellowship Project employee out of Washington, D.C. My interviewer asked me several questions during the 30 minute interview. The last step was the final call after my interviewer collaborated with his team members and let me know whether i got accepted or not. and thus, I GOT ACCEPTED!! The interviewer said he loved my personal story for the reason I want to go into medicine, and many of you know the drive behind that is my cousin Ryan. During this fellowship, i will be traveling to Genova, Italy for four weeks during the summer and shadowing a diverse set of doctors and getting to experience the different excursions around the city.
