A dear family member of ours – Juan Aviles, a caring husband, father, and a retired letter carrier who worked right up to a year ago at the age of 78, has been battling Cancer for quite some time. Thanks to God, the resiliency of our family to work together, and a combination of conventional and alternative Medicine, we have been able to help him beat this monster twice in a 4 year period.
But unfortunately, we’ve come to the end of the road, and thus feel like this is our last recourse. You see, our dad, Juan Aviles has been diagnosed with this disease once again; only this time it is starting to spread. Our goal at this time is to take him to a specialized institute within the state, where they focus on a complete integrative, holistic, patient-focused approach.
Unfortunately, with all the expenses incurred throughout these past years, we do not have the financial means to submit him to this potential lifesaving treatment. That is why we are opening up our hearts and pleading to all of you to open up yours and make whatever donation possible, within your means, that may hopefully extend this loving person’s life.
This has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, and we do not want to lose our loved one simply because we are financially unable. We would never forgive ourselves for not trying. So, once again, we would appreciate any contribution possible. It has been said time after time “there is power in numbers”; therefore, any contribution you can provide will definitely help.
Our friends at the New Conscience institute have offered to help with this cause by offering a variety of free health related services for anyone who contributes $20 or more to this cause. They will be offering facials, acupuncture treatments, massage therapy, detox treatments, and weight management services.
Please note, our dad has certainly used and at times exhausted his current medical insurance benefits, but as a family, we believe that the combine effort of both types of treatments, with the particular emphasis on a Holistic focused approach, will hopefully aid in his recovery.
