Amy's Story

Donation protected
On October 1, 2012 Amy and Colby found out they were pregnant. Medically Amy was considered infertile. God had a different plan. A few days after finding out she was pregnant the doctor also let her know she had fibroid cysts in her uterus. These cysts were holding her uterus open, which means she could possibly miscarry. Eventually they became cancerous tumors.

Doctors encouraged Amy to abort the baby saying there was a 99% chance they would get it all and that she could live a healthy life. Amy refused, she was determined to have the baby as she valued life.carr

As the baby grew, so did the tumor. This caused Amy tremendous pain, and because she was heavily medicated throughout the pregnancy, the baby was also born addicted to drugs. Baby Lydia was born 32 weeks by C section with a healthy cry very much alive!

Three months after the delivery and five weeks of radiation, radiation implants and chemo they got rid of the cancer. A few weeks later more lumps appeared. The cancer spread.

Amy's insurance will not cover her expenses on holistic healing. Which is what she's chosen to do as far as this recent find with cancer. She needs help financially to continue treatments and organic foods. This strict diet will help combat the tumor. She is using western medicine, holistic medicine and most importantly God to heal her.

Let's stand with Amy in this! Let's believe that she will be healthy and healed, her baby will be healthy and well, and that her and her husband Colby can continue this fight to win the battle of cancer. Prayerfully consider partnering financially with Amy and Colby and their sweet daughter Lydia.

The entire process will take $18,000. This is no big deal to God. And we are all believing for Amy to receive the money needed and the healing she needs to continue being a wife, a mother and a woman after God's own heart. Thanks for your time in reading Amy's story.
