Godwin Anto - Save a Friend Please

Hi Friends,

Godwin Anto, is a high school friend of mine in India. We have shared good part of adlosence together. He is a great guy, very energetic and likes everyone equally. Fate has struck him and his family though.

He is diagonised to have relapsed acute myeloid leukemia. This is a type of blood cancer. He is planned to be treated with Chemotherapy followed by allogeneic stem cell transplant once he achieves remission.  Doctors have advised the best option would be to undergo haploidentical transplant using one of his family member as a donor.

The estimated cost of the chemotherapy and haploidentical transplant will cost approximately around 3500000 Indian Rupees which roughly translates to $60000 US dollars. This is something the family cannot strictly afford. They have already spent everything in his previous treatment.

Seeking a helping hand here. We need the funds as soon as possible to start his treatment.  Hoping everyone can actually pitch in and save a suffering soul.   I would greatly appreciate all the help you can provide.
