Brownie's Medical Treatment
Brownie was surrendered to NYCACC on September 25, 2017. His owner surrendered him for medical reason. Brownie was scheduled to be euthanized on September 28th. On September 27, we reserved him in order to save his life. On the 28th, we drove to Manhattan and he was released to us. The next day we got him groomed and he was taken to the vet. He underwent a series of xrays and had extensive bloodwork along witb treating his dry eye. Brownie also has a mass by his rectum but at this time we do not know if it is cancerous. He has a heart mumur so he will need to see a cardiologist to determine if we can proceed with removing the mass, a dental and neuter. As you can imagine medical treatment is expensive but I could not let him die in the shelter. He deserves to get this treatment and deserves to be loved. He is such a good boy, very quiet but spunky. I normally don't ask for help with my personal pets but I honestly cannot afford everything involved. I know the initial vet bill was $800 and there will be more. All bills will be posted but if you would rather donate directly to the vet, I can provide you with the information. Any amount helps. Thank you for considering. Love, Brownie
