Help Rich Fight Cancer!!

Hi everyone! My name is Brittany and I am setting up this account to raise money for my dad who has just recently been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer! My dad and I have been very close my whole life, he has always been my best friend and been there for me no matter what! Growing up I wasn't always the easiest child to deal with I was kind of wild you may say... and he always stuck by me no matter what and guided me in the right direction! I can't even put into words how devastated we both are to hear this news! I never would have thought something like this would happen to us.. I don't think anyone ever does but now we have to try and live everyday to the fullest and fight this cancer head on! The doctors have now recommend a treatment which is a pill that you have to take for 2 years, the only huge problem with this is it can cost up to $2000 dollars a month and insurance usually won't cover it! We have decided that due to the progression of the disease, quality of life, and other health concerns that occur as side effects of chemotherapy that we are not going to do that but this new pill sounds like a great alternative that has had some great results according to what the doctors have told us!!
