Help Brittany Lift Kettlebells in Russia

Donation protected
When I first started working at Ice Chamber two years ago, I had never heard of a kettlebell, much less that people competed in something called Kettlebell Sport. After a few months of struggling with the basic movements, I was hooked. As an athlete in who did not get the chance to compete on a collegiate team, competing in Kettlebell Sport fueled my competitive side. But perhaps more importantly, kettlebell helped me find my passion for a career in fitness as I was struggling to complete a college major I was not excited about. Over the past year, I have learned so much about myself as a person through the physical and mental struggles that Kettlebell Sport encompasses. I'd like to think it has made me a more patient, strong, and compassionate person--and that I've been able to help others reap their own benefits from the sport.

In early September, I competed at USA Nationals in New York for Kettlebell Sportand won the 63 kg weight class lifting the 16 kg bell. My win in New York qualified me to represent the USA at the World Championships in Tyumen, Russia at the end of November! I am so excited to travel to the birth country of kettlebells and have the opportunity to learn from elite kettlebell athletes from all over the world.

Unfortunately kettlebell is not a huge sport in the USA yet, and I have to fund the trip to Russia on my own. This includes travel costs, registration, USA uniform, hotel, etc. I would be so grateful if you are willing to donate some money to my cause and help me fund a portion of this trip. Thank you!
