Help Samantha Fight Cancer
Donation protected
This campaign is for my mother, Samantha Owen, as she is undergoing treatment for T-Cell PLL Leukemia. My mom was diagnosed in January of this year with leukemia after being sick for several months. The doctors weren't exactly sure what was wrong and said she had pneumonia. However, after being sent to Yale Hospital in New Haven, their cancer team gave her the diagnosis of T-Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia, a rare type of blood cancer. Immediately after her diagnosis, she began aggressive chemotherapy, both in-patient and out-patient. She had been receiving chemotherapy for the past 9 months to lead up to a stem cell transplant, where stem cells would be collected from a donor and infused into her body.
My mom has been through a lot in the past 9 months. We greatly appreciate any amount you are able to give–cancer is incredibly expensive, and she hasn't been able to work since the diagnosis. The money we receive through this campaign will go directly towards paying bill, buying groceries, and trying to relieve cancer's financial burden. My mom and I are so thankful for your support.
