TEAM UP for TOM

My name is Lisa Marie Stucci. I have known Tom for nearly 30 years. He is the father to my oldest son Joe. He has been my friend since day one, and my roommate for 5 years. Tom is one of the most hard-working, loyal human beings, I have ever known. He would give anyone the "shirt off his back". He has worked hard his entire life. A little over a year ago, he began having bladder issues, but kept it a secret, as he didn't have health insurance and didn't want large mecical bills to pile up. Six months ago, his symptoms started to surface when he became lethargic, disoriented and jaundiced. I rushed him to the Emergency Room, where we were told, after a series of tests, that Tom was very ill, and would need several pints of blood. They were shocked, that he was still sitting upright, due to the large amount of blood loss. The next day test results were confirmed. His Bladder cancer has returned. One month later, Tom lost his job. Since then, Tom has had surgery to his bladder, and we received a letter last week stating that about 80% of his cancer was removed. Whatever the future holds, is uncertain right now. He will likely need to have another surgery within a month, but Tom finds a way to remain positive and optimistic. He hasn't stopped living not one day since his diagnosis. I decided to create a gofund for Tom who has managed to overcome obstacles a lot of people couldn't and he did it at times with only having .67 cents in his pocket!! But none of that never changed him or stopped him from being a good person. Better yet.....a good man! Since he lost his job in May, bills have been piling up. I just wanted to find some sort of way to help out someone who has been a big part of our lives. And is truly a deserving soul. God bless. And thank you
