B's Surgery

On 9/27 our poor cat B broke her leg. It was a complete fracture so basically her bone snapped in half. She had two surgeries and after two weeks of torture in a cage where she was miserable, we found out that she had a severe infection in her leg. Basically our only option that's left is amputation and our hearts are broken. She is scheduled to have her leg amputated on Monday 10/19. Before the accident B was (and still is) the best cat you could ask for. Healthy, strong, fit, athletic, friendly, sweet, and not a mean bone in her body. She's about 7-8 years old and has never been sick or injured. This is part of the reason why euthanasia was not an option for us (the other part being that she is basically our child). Between the original emergency vet visit costs and then her multiple surgeries, our bills are at about $8,000 currently. My husband Chris and I are usually the generous type of people, wanting to help out others when we can, so this is not something we thought we'd ever need to do. We have no expectations, but with tough times during this pandemic we thought it couldn't hurt to ask for some help. We sincerely appreciate any and all donations, and even all of the well wishes for our poor girl.
