Patton Family Reunion

On the 27th of January 2018 we will be holding the first Patton Family Reunion in over 37 years, at the L.B.Davern Reserve in Wandong, Victoria. The date marks the arrival into Port Phillip onboard the Stratheden of 18 year old William Patton and his subsequent marriage to Charlotte Palethorpe (nee Stafford) near Bears Castle, Castle Hill, Yan Yean on the 20th December 1853. A number of family members have indicated that they would like to “chip in” for the costs of the event, so I’ve set up this GoFundMe page to enable those who would like to contribute, the opportunity to do so. A list of all expenses for the day will be provide to all contributors so please ensure that you provide me with an email address. If we get more than the basic costs we can add more features to the event (eg: Bagpipes). I just want to reiterate to all family members that this is not a request for money but an opportunity for those so compelled to “chip in” and help make this the Patton Event of our generation. I look forward to seeing a huge gathering of the descendants of William & Charlotte (indeed descendants of his grandparents William & Annie m.1790 Orkney Islands), at the event. Kind Regards,Gary
