Chloe’s medical expenses
Chloe was born 10 weeks premature. At a pregnancy checkup, we were told that I was dilated and had to be rushed to the ER. I had to stay at the hospital for 2 weeks trying my best to keep Chloe from coming early. Chloe was born January 21. Chloe had a bunch of obstacles to overcome to graduate the NICU. She went home April 2 on a small amount of oxygen (huge relief, given her initial inability to breathe without a cpap). Even today we have to monitor her oxygen levels. Thankfully, we have only had one scare since she has been home. When Chloe was born she had a severe case of hip dysplasia. Her right leg was perpendicular to her body. Her fingers also have some abnormalities. She has her hip surgery (FINALLY) scheduled for December 30. Chloe’s extended NICU stay with basic state insurance, the medical expenses are starting to pile up. Surgery and the addition of a second surgery approximately six weeks from the initial surgery is starting to become a financial burden on our family. She has a number of specialists and several different tests still pending. Chloe’s official diagnosis is arthrogryposis.
It hasn't been without hesitation; however, with one income and Mike providing round the clock care, including PT, we would appreciate any financial support, love and prayers. With hard times falling upon many of us, we are grateful for all support for our family.
As we keep finding new information about Chloe during her visits, we will make sure to update everyone on her progress.
