Fallen Rider Jereimy Stewart

Donation protected
On July 6, 2017, Jereimy Stewart, was in a motorcycle accident. It resulted in the amputation of his left leg, up to his mid thigh. He sustained other injuries and fractured bones. His everyday life, along with his fiancée and 2 children's lives, have completely changed. As you can imagine, he has had to undergo numerous surgeries, at times 2 to 3 a week, to clean the leg and rid it of infection so the doctors can get him prepared for the next phase, closing it. That left him in Grady Hospital for a month and Jereimy will have to return weekly for more cleanings and changing of his wound vac. He faces a long road to get his leg healed enough to start the skin grafting phase to close his leg.
During this time he has missed work, his children have started back to school and his fiancée has missed days of work. Medical equipment hasn't been easy to obtain and money has been tight. He is unsure when he will be cleared to return to work or if/when he will be healed enough receive a prosthetic. He is currently in a wheelchair, as he can not put full weight on his right leg due to the pelvic surgery resulting in inserting a plate to repair the fracture.
Asking for help is never an easy thing. But, this horrific accident has left the family in a bind. The motorcycle community is huge and we are all aware how accidents can really put us out. The family will forever be grateful for everyone coming together to help a fallen rider.
