Dusty did not have any life insurance and that the cost of the funeral along with some other expenses have created a short term financial stress. MAJ Loveday told me that they still haven't gotten a marker for her grave due to the cost. It looks like it will cost about $2000 to have one made and put in place. He said that he has a plan to have one made after the first of the month, but I thought this may be a great opportunity for some of us ROTC Alumni to help meet this financial need. After all, Dusty was a huge part of the the ROTC program. Even if we don't raise the $2000 needed, I'm sure any amount would help out and be appreciated.
