The Clark Family Needs Your Help

My husband, Kenny, was diagnosed with a rare carcinoma called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) this disease effects about 1 in 1 million. He was operated on in the spring of 2011 when he had his spleen, gall bladder, appendix and a portion of his colon removed. His diaphragm was also re-sectioned and Hypothermic Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) was used to kill the cancer cells throughout Kenny's body. It was a very tedious operation which included a team of doctors that worked for 15 hours in surgery. He had a lengthy 5 month recovery which included a short rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility and then I was able to bring him home with the help of a homecare nurse. He had a wound vac and an ileostomy which needed care. Kenny recovered remarkably. We have two sons ages 10 and 12 who love their father dearly. He was able to coach our oldest son's local Hotstove baseball team The DRD Wildcats in 2012; they were state runner up in the 11u division and in 2013 they won the state championship in the 12u division. We are currently trying to raise funds for the next upcoming surgery when Kenny will undergo the extremely long process of the debulking (sugarbaker) with HIPEC surgery again. We recently found out that the disease has grown and progressed to the point where the same surgery is needed again. There are gelatinous tumors where his spleen used to be, by the rectum and the lower left lobe of his lung and we will need help with the medical bills. Currently, I am the only one working a full time job to support our family and I will need to take a leave of absence during this devastating time, unable to work. As the medical bills continue to pile up, we are struggling to make ends meet with. We still have not recovered financially from the first surgery and are praying for help during this difficult time.
