Hurricane Irma Relief

Hello friends . I finally got evacuated off of St Thomas yesterday . It's hard for me to find the right words to describe the devastation that our island endured. Winds over 220mph tore off roofs, knocked down power lines and turned our lush tropical paradise into what looks like a post apocalyptic movie set. The island will be without power for months and I no longer have a place to live, a car or employment. Im more fortunate than others as Im lucky to have escaped with my life ... the last I heard 164 people on STT alone died. A lot of friends have reached out to see how they can help so I set this page up. My heart is truly broken and I feel guilty for leaving. My goal is to get organized and go back to St Thomas in a few weeks . Id like to send supplies to the EMS team in redhook who have been working 24/7 without proper food supplies or sleep. I've met so many strong people who have come together in this time of tragedy. I love my island family. #VISTRONG
