Friends - you may have heard about the heart-wrenching situation with Traci Olney and her best friend, World Champion Paint/Pinto Special Te Forces (Teegan.) On Monday (Sept. 11th) Teegan became dramatically ill and was rushed to Pilchuck Equine Hospital; he underwent surgery on the 12th for a bowel obstruction, which he thankfully survived. However, his condition is complicated by a rare thrombosis. Although financially daunting, Traci isn't willing to give up on Teegan, and neither are we!
Many of you have asked for updates and how you can help, so we have set up this Go Fund Me account to keep you posted and to provide a way for us to actively band together for Traci and Teegan. We can never thank you enough for your continued love, support & prayers! We love you!
About Traci & Teegan
Chances are if you have been in the horse show arena over last couple decades you know Traci Olney. Teegan and Traci have shown at the World Shows, winning multiple World titles, Reserves, Top Fives and Top Tens. He is a gorgeous Halter Horse who excels at Hunter Under Saddle and Driving, and is also a giant love-bug and goof-ball. Traci took a leap of faith and bought him sight unseen. When he came home, we all knew she got more than she bargained for. He is truly a very special horse!
Traci has been involved with many breed associations setting up trail courses, banding and braiding at all hours of the night at shows, hauling to shows across the country, and helping out anyone who has ever even expressed interest in showing. She would do anything to help people, and now it's her turn to receive help from all her friends. We all want to show our love to Traci and cheer on Teegan in the future as he carries Traci's granddaughters in lead line and walk-trot classes, and we gratefully ask you to please help in any way you can.
