Hope for Robin

In September of 2017 my best friend Robin went to the hospital for an x-ray. She hurt her back a few days prior and I encouraged her to have it looked at due to the pain it was causing her. The routine x-ray turned out to show a much bigger problem. They found a mass on her liver.

After a series of blood work and a biopsy the hospital doctors determined she had stage 4 liver cancer. This came as a huge shock to all of us but we were ready to battle this head on. Robin has a strong spirit and she knew from the moment they told her she had cancer that she would not die from it.

The doctors had other plans however. After just 4 treatments they decided that her body was not responding to the chemo therapy so they discontinued her treatment and left her with no options and no hope of recovering.

This battle started a mere 4 months ago and we did not believe that there were no other treatments available for her. We do not believe that this cancer will be what takes her out of this world so we took to researching other options, and we found one.

There is a hospital not far from where Robin lives that is willing to treat her but not until she pays an initial out of pocket visit fee. Her current insurance does not cover the treatment that could save her life.

I am asking for donations to help Robin get the life saving treatment that she needs. If something happens and she is not seen by the new team that we have found, all donations will be respectfully returned.
