The Sonic Hedgehog Won't Stop Me

I am blessed to know an Amazing family. The Garcias are active in Church. Active in Boy Scouts. A family of Leaders. A family that excels in Academics. Most importantly, a family that is close knit and supports each other.
Unfortunately, even Wonderful People experience hardships. Their son, Joey, was recently diagnosed with cancer of the brain, specifically, Sonic Hedgehog Medulloblastoma. It's an aggressive cancer (thus the nickname "Sonic Hedgehog"). In the few weeks since the initial condition was diagnosed, the doctors have gone in and surgically removed the mass from his brain. Unfortunately, it's also in the membrane surrounding his brain. The doctors are moving quickly in hopes of keeping it from spreading.
The Garcia's have received lots of support from family, friends, and the Folsom community. People have been generous in dropping off meals so that the family can focus on things other than cooking.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help with the medical costs, expenses going to and from chemo and radiation treatments, as well as lost wages from his mom not being able to work so she can take care of him. It is still unclear as to what additional treatments the future holds. Contributions and Prayers are truly Appreciated. Thank you on behalf of The Garcias.
