Hurricane Relief For Kim Pearson

As most of you know Kim has been living in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. During the past 5 years years that she has lived there she has grown to love the island, the people, and culture. She has worked very hard during that time to establish her home. Up until recently she had been working as a hairstylist, which has been her passion since she was very young. On September 6th the island of St. Thomas was hit by a CAT 5 hurricane, the north side of the island where Kim lives was hit the hardest. Communication has been very difficult so we are not sure what damage has occurred to her home. We do know that she has lost most contents of her home due to the extensive water and wind damage. At this time her home is not livable and is currently residing with her neighbors who provide her with food, water, shelter, and protection. This is going to be a long tough battle for her and the community to reestablish the beautiful island they once lived on.
