Super Trooper's New Lease On Life
Donation protected
Trooper was discovered discarded on the side of Smede Highway in Saint Martin Parish very near death. St. Martin Sheriff's Department seized him and brought him to St Martin Shelter. On Tuesday September 5th, Trooper went down and could not get back up unassisted. Luckily St Martin Shelter's director called in the Volunteer Fire Department and they were able to get him back up. However, worried about his deteriorating health, the shelter director reached out to me and asked if I would foster. I had previously rescued an emaciated horse(Baron) from this same shelter, and have a soft spot for these difficult cases so I immediately agreed. This campaign is to help defer the medical costs that have already accumulated (he went down Wednesday September 6th and could not get up unassisted so vet was called out) and will continue to accumulate over the next several months.
