Jack & Ann O'Neill Hurricane Relief

As many of y'all have seen the devastation Harvey has caused, it has hit a little closer to home for my family. Jack and Ann O'Neill, or Mimi and Papa as they are better known...are just some of the many residents who have lost everything. All of their furniture was lost, leaving behind piles of molded wood and crumbled dry wall. Their home is just a shell. Both cars were flooded and with no income we are at a loss of what expenses are to come. They lived in a no flood zone which is why they didn't get flood insurance, but after a week their area is still flooded. Today was the first day we could get in by truck, making it difficult for those who have come to help..but still, they continued to come. This home has seen many holidays and many birthdays. It will always be a place where their children and grandchildren can come and feel at peace. But until we can rebuild, the memories we hold dearly help us to stay positive and keep moving forward. We have a big family who continue to put their day to day lives aside to help them begin the process of demolition. We are just asking for what you can give. Any little bit helps. We can't thank those who have come to help, whether it was a hot meal after a long day of removing the walls or just those who have continued to show support and prayers for our family, but mostly Mimi and Papa, The O'Neill family has tons and tons of friends gained through the years, and we have been reminded of that in these last few weeks.
