Help Aaron Heal

Hello friends and family! On January 29, 2018 our dear friend and our beloved Ballet Master underwent emergency surgery for a detached retina.  Both the surgery and healing process meant that he was not able to work for several weeks.  A couple of weeks after returning to work, his retina became detached again. He had a second surgery on March 5th. As you can imagine, two costly emergency surgeries within two months were unexpected and unplanned. During all of this, Aaron has not been able to lift more than 20lbs. He is unable to do any exercise of any kind.

All of this has impacted his eyesight. On April 16th, Aaron was scheduled to go in for a procedure to remove scar tissue that was causing blindness. The day before, his retina detached again so the surgery was more complicated and the healing process was longer. He has many follow up appointments and he’s had two more in office laser procedures after surgery to reinforce his retina.

The surgeries are costly, and Aaron has been out of work for eleven weeks with no income. He is slowly getting back to the studio. When he is able to go into work, he is only permitted to sit or stand still.

His passion for teaching and his dedication to his students have remained strong throughout this difficult time. Aaron needs your help to get back on his feet and continue doing what he loves. Any amount helps and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
