IVF FERTILITY TREATMENTS

So about 9 months ago, Brittany and I decided that we wanted to go ahead and seriously try and have a baby. We went ahead and had me tested for levels to make sure everything was correct with me. Couple tests and a few weeks go by and we get the unfortunate news that my sperm count levels are on the very low end and we wouldn’t be having a kid without some medical intervention and that’s when we were introduced to Dr Kaufman at Fort Worth Fertility Clinic. We went in with open mind but reserved hearts. Fast forward to last Thursday and after a few thousand dollars later, we had the eggs retrieved from Brittany and artificially inseminated by Dr Kaufman and his team. They retrieved 21 eggs, which is a great number, of which 13 survived the insemination process. So this is where the bad news comes in and the GoFundMe is asking for help. We ran into the unfortunate circumstance of progesterone levels being too high for a good chance of the embryos attaching and surviving the 9 months of pregnancy. This money would be helping us afford the next round of transfer after we freeze the remaining embryos and try again at a later date.
