Sapporo Bejay Needs Our Help!!!

Hello, everyone. My name is D.W. For those of you that don't know me, I've been Bejay's friend for 26 years, ever since he hired me as a teenager to wash dishes and bus tables at the restaurant he managed for a very long time. Many of you may also know Bejay as a loyal friend, but some of you may recognize him as the funny and talented senior hibachi chef at Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse on Seabreeze Boulevard in Daytona Beach. If you are familiar with his situation, you know that Sapporo abruptly closed its doors a few weeks back. This left Bejay and his family with no income. Tragically, mere days later, Bejay suffered a major medical event that has left him hospitalized and completely incapacitated ever since. The good news is that Bejay is slowly recovering, but it will still be a long and challenging time. The bad news is that Bejay has zero income to pay his current bills. As you can imagine, his medical bills are stacking up on top of them. Unfortunately, Bejay has no income or insurance that will cover this. Bejay's wife (Lili) and their 8-year-old son (Jeffrey) have cut or suspended non-essential items such as cable TV, some phone services, and some activities for Jeffrey. Right now, the priority is to save their house and to keep at least one vehicle for transportation. It is difficult to see my friend in this condition: barely able to eat, to speak, to stand, or to walk. With all of that said, Bejay still tries to put a smile on the face of his visitors and hospital staff, just as he would before this happened. He wants nothing more than to get back on his feet and start working again.
