Hey Friends...My GOFUNDME campaign is titled "Yo Lex, I got you!", is because whether its with funding, word of mouth, prayers, or just a good hug, I know its what you are all thinking ;-)
As some of you know or don't know, my mother has been ill for awhile. After suffering a stroke in Oct 2012, taking away 30% of her vision in both eyes, treatable ovarian and cervical cancer were found. She had a hysterectomy in February 2013 to remove the cancer (it did!). She has high blood pressure and has battled with Multiple Sclerosis (an auto-immune disease that attacks her nervous system - so pain and stress are felt at optimum levels) for 15 years. And when its quiet, she copes with depression and anxiety.
My mother was recently approved to live in a new facility where all of her medical, social and emotional needs can be met. Time is against us, and I need to raise this money in 48hours or she will lose her spot. This will secure her space and pay for moving expenses.
