Hurricane Harvey Relief-Pool Family

Donation protected
Chad, his wife Kristie, and their four beautiful daughters had been on my heart, as they live in Texas. My girls and I prayed for their family Sunday night. Chad was a high school friend and classmate. Monday morning, I reached out to him to see how they were doing. I could hear the tears in his voice, and I immediately started crying as well. They had to evacuate their home on Sunday, which was one of the most difficult decisions they have ever had to make as a family. Each of them left with one small bag of clothes/necessities. They moved all of their most precious items in their home to the second level; praying the water does not reach that high. They had to leave one vehicle behind, as the water was too high. Luckily they found a hotel room for the six of them. Chad said people are fighting in grocery stores and it is just awful. I've continued to pray for the last two days but feel called to do more.I found out today that they do not have Flood Insurance. And to make matters worse, Chad is unable to work as he's a UPS Driver. They have a long road ahead of them to recover from this catastrophe. If you feel called to give a financial donation to this amazing family, I know their hearts would be filled with gratitude. Thank you in advance. God Bless you all.
