Cancer Stricken Single Mom 3 Kids

We are asking our friends, family and the community for help for our beloved friend Kelly Beam. Kelly is a single mom of 3 beautiful children, Skylar age 17, Trinity age 8 and her youngest Thomas who is just 2.She is also the daughter of Cassie Beam, recently retired 1st Grade Teacher at Banta Elementary School. Anyone who knows Kelly knows that her children are her life. Providing for them and being the best Mom she can be, is and always will be her main priority. Sadly, Kelly is facing a major hurdle right now in her life. Kelly became ill with severe stomach pain which landed her in the emergency room early last week. On Wednesday August 23rd, Kelly underwent surgery to remove her appendix as the Doctors had determined that was the cause of her discomfort. To all of our surprise, she awoke to learn that while they were performing the appendectomy, they found other pressing issues that needed to be addressed. Along with the removal of her appendix, they also took a foot of her colon as well as a tumor. On Thursday, we were delivered the devastating news that the Pathology Reports showed a rapid growing, aggressive form of cancer. As Kelly is recovering from last weeks surgery, she working diligently to get into Stanford Hospital where she will learn of a proper diagnosis and undergo treatment.Please help by donating any amount possible. The money earned from this fundraiser will help Kelly tremendously during this very difficult time. Unfortunately, Kelly is not going to be able to continue working her normal shifts at the Golden Corral during this time of healing and fighting this terrible disease. In true Kelly fashion, her biggest fear right now is the well being of her children and not the fact that she has cancer. We are hoping to help alleviate some of her worry and stress, by raising as much as we can. The money will help with her medical expenses, to care for her children and the many trips she will be taking back and forth to Stanford over the coming months.
