Hi everyone, My name is Trina Medlock and I live just outside of Little Rock. This campaign is for our cousins Austin and Sara Conant's. Their house has been impacted my Hurricane Harvey. See the pictures... the water is still rising!
The 1st pictures you will see are of their house on Monday, Aug 28th in Brookside Village, TX. They have 3 young kids ages 8, 7 and 2. They are a young family and this will certainly be a hardship on them. The money will go directly to them for their housing, food, shelter and dealing with the aftermath to come in their home. These funds do not go to anyone else including me as they are already directly allocated to Sara and her family through Go Fund Me.
Check out the Youtube video at the 1st of this story showing the evacuation on 8/28. That is when they were evacuated from their Mother-in-law's house which should have been a safe place and high ground.
When Sara was young, she spent time with Keith's parents in Little Rock because her dad (Keith's uncle Bobby) was receiving treatment at the VA for cancer. We got to know her well! She lost her dad when she was about Savana's age. I just can't imagine. She has grown into an amazing woman!
Our family wants to make sure they have what they need. If you have questions, let me know. You know that I never ask for anything, but this family is going to need our help. This is a real way to make an impact for a family directly affected by the hurricane!
