Scout's Medical Fund

My heartdog and accomplished working dog recently developed a sore on his hip and a swollen foot/leg. Because he previously had surgery on that leg we initially thought it had something to do with the hardware. Xrays showed everything in tact.  We treated it with zeniquin and keflex to reduce swelling and aid healing.  Within 7 days off the antibiotics his whole leg was swollen 3x the size and the sore was worse; not closing and signs of necrotic tissue. 
My regular vet Dr. Pate at VCA Bradshaw  proactively performed a biopsy on the tissue for cancer and we cultured the infection to find out what antibiotice would work best and referred me to a wound care/surgeon Dr. Seth Bleakley at VCA Sacramento Referral Center. 
The culture showed EColi and Staph infection and we proceded with one of only 2 antibiotics to treat this without damaging his kidneys. Pathology proved negative for cancer. 
For over a week Scout has endured daily sedation to perform bandage changes, I give him both his injectible and pill antibiotics.
Last week after we though was looking like good healing progression we had to cut back even more necrotic tissue and into the leg muscle. We also spent a night in the ER with a reaction to a changed sedation. This setback has pushed my finincial limits and nearly exahusted all  of my fiscal resources.
Even though it's beyond humbling to ask for help I will do anything to be able to additionally treat my boy.  I am terrified to loose him and he's so strong, wilfull, and fighting so hard.
His antibiotics alone are $135 a week. Every day I take two hours off work to commute home and be there for his bandage changes that range from $150-$300+ a day.
Every little bit helps and my heartfelt thanks for any assistance to aid my boys recovery. We have a long road ahead of us but it is not his time yet.
Our bond is beyond measure and this no quit belgian malinois truest to his breed has taught me so much. Please help me not quit on him.
