Me and my kids are trying to get out of a abusive house, We live in the home of my ex husband and their father who is a alcoholic. Both me and my son is disable and I get SSA and work part time as a
distributor for Coastal Angler Magazine.My son receives SSI and my daughter is going to school to get her GED and Medical Billing and Coding. We have the money to pay on a house we found but we can't gather all the money for the down payment of it. My son is in the hospital in ICU he had got double pneumonia. He is doing better now but i do not want him having to come back to this house. The stress here is so bad. We never know when their dad is going to come in and have one of his fits with screaming and yelling, cursing, Banging stuff and threatening. He is suppose to live in a room he have in the garage and we was suppose to live in the house to help pay on the house for him ,we can call the police on him but all they do is let him out the next day and then its worse and it has turn into a nightmare. None of us can sleep at night waiting for him to come in at all hrs of the night. We are not allow to change the lock because he said its his house. I know it was this stress that help make my son become sick. He has not been sick sense he was 10yrs and he is 24 now. He has a autism and the mind of a child along with other physical problems. We found a place and can afford the payments but just not the down payment of 5%. Please help us finally to have our own place where me and my kids can actually call our own. A place where we can go to sleep at night and sleep peacefully not worrying if someone going to come in drunk and mean. A place we can truely call home.A friend of mine told me about this page and normally I would not asked others for help but right now I want to get my family out of this place and into our own home that I have been trying everything but it still not enough for the down payment.
