It's been a helluva journey this 2017 year. I have much to be grateful for, family, friends, a beautiful home in beautiful Asheville. I truly believe things happen for me and not to me. God is in control always. God has always been in my life, a part of my life, and never more prolific or evident as this year. I would not have been diagnosed with breast cancer as early as I was if I hadn't been downsized in March. God positions people and opens doors and will never give you more than you can handle. I was fortunate in landing the job God had aligned for me at his time, not mine. In the past 2 months I started a new job, in a new city, with a new journey. Only God knows what's in store for me, but I can tell you I will be fighting, surviving and kicking cancers ass with His help.
