Luna Celeste Funeral Costs

Friday August 11th 2017 started out a great and exciting day. My daughter Amanda was having her scheduled c- section. Little Luna Celeste was born at 11:31 am weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces 20 inches long. She was a little overdue at 40 weeks 5 days. She was welcomed into the world with her dad Christopher and big brother Liam. We learned after birth she was having issues breathing. She was placed on a breathing tube and seemed to be doing better. After a few hours Drs removed the tubes and thought she was on the road to recovery. At about 7:00 pm we were told the she was placed back in a vent and needed to be transfered to a higher lever NICU. She was transfered to Tampa General Hospital about 10:30 pm. Once arriving there she had a new breathing tube inserted and was doing a bit better. At 3am the Drs from TGH called us at the hospital we were at since my daughter could not be transfered. Stating they were going to have to do a tracheotomy to help clear her airway and improve her breathing. At 5:51am August 12th Luna Celeste lost the fight and became an Angel. Instead of being a happy day after birth my granddaughter is in heaven. My daughter was discharged 23 hours after her c-section to go to TGH to finally hold her daughter. We as a family are planning a funeral instead of bringing Luna home. This is overwhelming to us and something that she is not financially unprepared for. Anything would help with the process and would be appreciated. Thank you from my heart. Celeste McDaniel
