MARSHA'S MEDICAL ODYSSEY

Since 2013 I have been struggling with Kidney Disease.  June 03, 2017 my physicians insisted on immediate dialysis therapy.  Upon completion of my first dialysis treatment,  I felt well and drove myself to the gym for my usual workout.  When I retuned home I began to feel extreme stomach pain.  My friend Olivia took me to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with a perforated bowl.  This entailed 18 days in the hospital for observation,  subsequent surgery,  and two weeks of recovery.  I left the hospital in a very weak condition.  During recovery I was again  admited to the hospital  with fluid in my abdomen.  Drains were installed into my body and after 5 days I was discharged from the hospital but again I  was to weak to return to my home.  

On a physician's follow up I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my left leg and was again admitted to the hospital.
There was also excessive fluid in my lungs and during the drainage procedure my right lung was nicked and collapsed.  A tube was installed to inflate my lung.  After 10 days I was discharged from the hospital phyiscally weaker than I have ever been before in my life. 

Through this entire event since June  3rd I have either been in the hospital or I have been staying with very supportive  and dear friends.  My sisterJackie, daughter Donna, and close friends have been providing amazing support to me.

I am installing a stair lift to get me into my home.  I love my home very much and hope I will be able to remain there until I am fully recovered.

I am respectfully requesting any financial support to aid me in my goal to be self sufficient during and after this medical crisis.
