49 yrs young Stroke Survivor

My bestie Cathy had a stroke the day after Valentine's while having breakfast with me, her hubby, and my fiance....supposed to be fun relaxing coastal weekend get away.    Weather stalled from being airflighted from Lincoln City, had to be transported via ambulance instead.  They have ran multiple cat scans, bleeding and swelling in brain got so bad that they had to put a brain tap to relieve the pressure.  Procedure was successful after 2nd attempt to reposition tap tube to drain blood and relieve pressure.  Another procedure today at 2:30pm to determine cause and how to move forward with treatment to prevent worsening of bleeding on the brain. Her husband lives in Albany, she's being hospitalized in Portland.  Many costs with hotel, lodging for spouse to stay close by while she is hospitalized as unable to continue to stay in room.  Among all hospital costs.  Estimated time in hospital determined at this point is probably around 30 days.  Prayers are being asked for Cathy every day.
