My Transplant Story
Donation protected
I am looking for help in sharing my unique life experience, in the form of a book. I am a survivor of two life-saving liver transplants. I was one of the smallest ever transplanted at the University of Pittsburgh. I am hoping that my story will provide inspiration for those still waiting for their miracle, or those recovering, and learning to live life again. I hope this will also bring to the forefront the importance of organ and blood donation.
The funds will help me hire a professional writer, to give mine and my family's words new life, and to assist in the publishing process.
Writing this book will share with everyone what made me who I am today. My 3 kids will be able to read it in the future, and fully understand why Dad has a big scar on his stomach, and why he takes so much medicine.
I appreciate any support you can give, and know that one day it may provide inspiration to others.
Thank you.
