Fractured Photography Was Robbed

My name is Robert from Fractured Photography and I'm based out of Cleveland, Ohio. I have been a photographer for 10 years specializing in portraiture, model boudoir and nature work. On July 23rd at 1 p.m. while I was photographing a model at the Italian gardens on MLK I was approached by a jackass with a gun and told too hand over my keys and camera. He also asked for the models purse. As the bastard walked away I decided to try to get a picture of him with my phone so I followed him to my car but was unable to get a picture. I tried to get into the car but he managed to get it into drive and pulled away knocking me on to the ground. After dealing with the police making a report they drive us home and we heard on the radio that the dickhead had been in a hit n skip soon after he got the car. The police said that since there was going to be significant damage to my car they thought they would find it quickly. But it has been one week and I have given up hope. My car insurance seems like they will take care of the car but they don't cover stolen items, that is done with home insurance. I spoke with my agent and was basically told it wasn't going to be worth it because of the $1000 deductible and that they would raise my rate for years, not to mention that they would offer me pennies for what was stolen. This is what I had stolen: Fujifilm x100f 2 pocket wizard triggers 4x5 soft box C stands Large think tank camera bag Small cameras bag Canon 580ex flash And various misc things like umbrellas, batteries and filters. Not only do I have to figure out a way to get camera gear I first and foremost have to get a car, which the insurance won't do anything about for another few weeks in case the stolen car is found. Which brings up the reason for this GoFundMe. I'm not exactly well off and I don't see being able to get a camera for a long time especially since I'm still paying off the Fuji that I bought two months ago. It might actually be better for me to give up on photography, but I still want to keep shooting. At this point I only want to replace the camera and then slowly replace the other gear as time goes on. Thank you for reading all this, I appreciate it.
