Please help support my son-in-law, Eddie Allison and my grandson Mason through a very difficult time.
On the evening of Saturday July 22, the inhumane actions of one individual forever changed the life of my son-in-law Eddie Allison. Eddie's father, Edward Allison Sr. was brutally murdered by his girlfriend Mia Smith in their home in Burlingame. Eddie was visiting his dad with my grandson for the weekend. He had left the home only 30 minutes before the attack hoping to soothe Mason to sleep with a short car ride. Eddie returned to find his father unconscious and Mia unable to explain what happened,
Eddie's quick thinking and calm demeanor kept both him and my grandson safe until police arrived. For that, I am forever grateful.
Eddie is only 20 years old. Sadly, in his 20 short years he has experienced tragedy more than most. He lost his mom to lung cancer when he was 16 and has now lost his dad to a horribly violent crime committed by a woman he once considered a step mom.
As Eddie is his dad's only next of kin, he is left to handle the affairs of his father while also coping with the tragedy he witnessed.
Eddie is a wonderful father to my grandson Mason and has become an important part of our family. We are working our hardest to help Eddie through this tragedy.
I have created this GoFundMe for Eddie in hopes of assisting Eddie with the many unexpected expenses he will now be facing. Eddie has been living with me for the past few years and has asked me to help him navigate through this process. Any donations collected will be given directly to Eddie to meet his needs during this difficult time.
