Special Needs Animals
Donation protected
My name is Kay, and I am a sucker for rescue animals with special needs like medical issues or hard to place. But with a recent adoption, I have taken on more than I can handle.
I have loved and lost five beautiful animals in just the past ten years. I was holding my own until recently, but with the adoption of a nine-year-old female diabetic cat, I think I have now bitten off more than I can chew. I currently have significant credit card balances related to previous veterinarian charges for the animals that have passed. Still, I have current accounts, so I make no progress in paying off the old debts. Typical Catch-22! I need to pay off the old debts to care for my current fur babies adequately.
The animals in my current care are four cats, two of whom are diabetic, and a nine-year-old Min Pin dog, also with diabetes, who has just one eye and a diabetic cataract in the remaining eye, so he is slowly going blind.
Donations to my fund will be used to pay off my pre-existing debt. Once that is taken care of, the monthly payments I have been making will be used to set up reserves to care for my current pet family. I take my responsibility for these animals very seriously and want to do my best to take care of them. But with the adoption of the third animal with diabetes, I have over-extended my financial abilities and must ask for help.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. I will be eternally grateful.
