Hello friends, family, and every kind individual that may be taking time out of their busy schedule
to read this. I thank you…
My Grandmother, Connie C. Alva recently passed away. She was an exceptional woman in
every way. Always there to listen, always there to give sound advice….whether you wanted to
hear the “Truth of the Matter” or not. She taught me how to be a responsible woman and
mother. She preached endlessly about how to ALWAYS put your family first... “Love from family
is forever”. “Always keep your family’s love strong, keep your family’s foundation strong; and
with this; you shall always be blessed”. She will forever be in my heart…and I will deeply miss
her.
She passed through those “Pearly Gates” at home and though the paramedics tried their best to
bring her back to us, she was unable to return … The Lord decided to call her home. She is now
with her mother, father, brothers, sisters, etc… in heaven…I’m sure she’s looking down upon us
and wishing she could ( once again) help us figure things out…as we are all struggling with how
to properly lay her to rest.
She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, even great-great
grandchildren… brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. She touched each and everyone’s
heart in a different way. She was a genuine human being and who would go out of her way, in a
heartbeat for her family….always! Only memories now remain, and we must hold on to them
and hold them close, for that is all we now have.
I ask for those; that are able to; to please lend our family a “Helping Hand” at this extremely
difficult time. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the family was unable to timely secure the
financial needs to properly lay her to rest. The family is asking all friends, family, and even
others, to lend a hand at our time of need. Even, if you can only part with $5.00 - $10.00; right
now, it would mean the world to us.

Services are scheduled for this Friday, August 18th , 2017 at 10:00am at Hermosa Gardens
Cemetery located at 900 Meridian, Colton, California 92324. Flowers are welcome and
appreciated. She loved roses, carnations, and lillies.
